A striped crepe de chine ensemble, circa 1956, believed to have been designed by Valentina. The wrap-around skirt fastens with hook and eye and snap closure. The button-down shirt has a notched collar and set-in sleeves that end in buttoned cuffs. Accompanied by a matching Salvatore Ferragamo belt. No sizes or labels present. Appears in the book Greta Garbo: The Mystery of Style edited by Stefania Ricci (Milan: Skira, 2010) and previously exhibited: Museo Salvatore Ferragamo, Greta Garbo: The Mystery of Style , February through September 2010.
