A white painted oak roll-top desk with grey felt writing surface, together with a folding arm chair in blue floral printed upholstery. These items were part of Cecil Beaton's set design for the interior of Mrs. Higgins' home in the film My Fair Lady (Warner Bros., 1964), for which he won an Academy Award for Best Art Direction.
