Two pairs of cream kid leather gloves owned by Mary Pickford and attributed as being purchased from The Mary Pickford Estate Sale presented by The J. M. Goodman Auction Gallery, Inc., in Association with C.B. Charles Galleries, Inc., in 1981. The first pair has periwinkle embroidery work to the cuffs and cord work embellishment. An interior stamp reads "Aris" and "Made in Saxony." The second pair is embellished with cord work and fabric trim with a scalloped cuff. The interior is stamped "Made in Czecho Slovakia." Both pairs are inscribed in ink "Designed for Mary Pickford." Size 5 1/2. PROVENANCE From the Collection of Jane Withers Categories: Mary Pickford
