ROHIRRIM HAIRPIECE

This hairpiece was created by Weta Workshop’s make-up department and was worn by one of the Rohirrim, or, the Riders of Rohan, featured in The Two Towers (New Line Cinema, 2002) and Return of the King (New Line Cinema, 2003). A great deal of helmets utilized during the production of The Lord of the Rings (New Line Cinema, 2001, 2002, 2003) trilogy films, from Orc and Uruk-hai, to Elves and in this case, Rohirrim, had the flowing and matted hair of the character attached to the inside to save the wardrobe and makeup department time in dressing the inhabitants of Middle-earth.
