A biblical headdress from Cecil B. DeMille's The Ten Commandments (Paramount, 1956) worn by Martha Scott as Yochabel. The headdress has burgundy and chartreuse stripes on a jet ground and is trimmed with a decorative brasslike band to the forehead. Costume design by Edith Head, Arnold Friberg, Dorothy Jeakins, John Jensen, and Ralph Jester. Accompanied by a colored publicity image and a copy of the film. Categories:
