An ivory silk satin evening coat and gown worn by Tippi Hedren while promoting The Birds (Universal, 1963). The coat and gown were worn in publicity images, to the 1963 Cannes Film Festival, and to the London premiere of The Birds . The A-line coat has three-quarter sleeves and a pleated panel that drapes over the left shoulder. The figure hugging gown has a fitted bodice with slim straps and a slender skirt with a flare to the hips, and a back slit. Designed by Edith Head. No labels present. Categories:
