A bubble headdress from Ziegfeld Follies (MGM, 1945) worn in the Kathryn Grayson number "Beauty. " The crown is embellished with silver beadwork, rhinestones, and square cut glass trim, two side panels, and is filled with plastic bubbles. The headdress is supported by a fitted lattice frame of square cut glass. A label in the crown reads "Elaine Sheppard." Costume Design for Ziegfeld Follies by Helen Rose, Florence Bunin, Tony Duquette, and Irene. Accompanied by a copy of the film. Categories:
