A pair of love letters, one written by Hedy Lamarr and one written to her by Reginald Gardiner. The first is a letter written by Lamarr on Hotel Blackstone stationery dated September 15, 1968. Lamarr lived at the Blackstone for three years after leaving Los Angeles for New York. The letter reads in part, "Dear Muffin - I am so happy to see you again...Please write some of that silly talk between us - enough for a record, ore [sic] possibly a stage act in London...will tell you about everything! Love Hedy." The second is a drawing with a note that reads "I love you! Reggie I am your wire grasshopper." Lamarr called Gardiner "The man she should have married."
