A pair of light blue Rawlings brand St. Louis Cardinals baseball pants worn by Whitey Herzog during the 1983 All-Star Game. As manager of the 1982 World Champion St. Louis Cardinals, Herzog was automatically named the manager of the 1983 National League All-Star team. The calf-length pants feature a red, white, and blue elastic band with snap closure at the waist and matching pinstripe on the outseam. Stitched into the interior waistband is a Rawlings manufacturer's tag and embroidered patch that reads "Herzog 38 22 83 1" in red script writing. The number "38" refers to the waist size, "22" the inseam of the pants, "83" the year of the pants, and "1" the "set number" of the uniform.
