A collection of correspondence from Valentino Memorial Guild members, primarily Gwen Vaughan and Antonio Altamirano between 1977 and 1985. Altamirano was connected to Valentino and the Memorial Guild through his friend Pola Negri, who reported herself to be engaged to Valentino at the time of his death. Their letters discuss Valentino memorabilia, Negri, the work of Leslie Flint and frustrations with other Valentino fans. The collection consists of original letters from Altamirano and copies of Vaughan's correspondence. Included is a smaller collection of letters between Vaughn and Rodolfo Fedeli. Contained in a three-ring binder. Binder, 12 by 10 1/4 inches PROVENANCE From The Leslie Flint Educational Trust, Ex-collection of The Valentino Memorial Guild Categories: Rudolph Valentino
