A beaded Bob Mackie gown owned and worn by Cyd Charisse. The figure-hugging gown has rows of gold bugle beads and rhinestones with a large bird formed from beads, sequins, artificial crystals, and rhinestones on a sheer nude ground. A label reads "Bob Mackie." Charisse wore an identical gown at the 1976 Cannes Film Festival and in the finale of Sentimental Journeys (PBS, 1984) when she sneaks up behind her husband and the show's host, Tony Martin.
