A turquoise dress worn by Ann Miller in her role as Lois Lane/Bianca in the film Kiss Me Kate (MGM, 1953). Bias label reads “1629/ 3046/ Ann Miller.” 1629 was the MGM production number for the film. The gown is trimmed with coral velvet and embellished with gold metallic ribbon. Light pink netting at bust and sleeves. Zipper closure at back and each sleeve cuff, laces at bust. Cut high on the left side of the dress to accommodate Miller’s dancing in the film. Accompanied by a copy of the film. Categories:
