A two-piece persimmon wool ice skating costume worn in Belle of New York (MGM, 1952). The costume comprises a tailored bodice jacket with fur trim, burgundy frog closures with tassels and a full hoop skirt. The jacket has a Western Costume label inscribed "80-1616-1 1 W.25-B-36-," a bias label inscribed "#15 Betty-Ross1545," and an MGM dry cleaning tag. The skirt has a Western Costume label inscribed "80-1616-1 25" and a bias label inscribed "Betty Ross." Costume design by Helen Rose. Accompanied by a copy of the film.
