A pair of lilac trousers worn by a model in the fashion show finale and designed by Adrian for his final film Lovely to Look At (MGM, 1952). The slender-fitting pants have ruched and zipped hems. A label reads "207 Bess." Adrian purportedly returned to MGM to work on this film under the condition that his current fashion collection would appear on screen. Accompanied by a copy of the film. Previously exhibited: Los Angeles County Museum of Art, "Ten Designers of the 20th Century," July 18, 1972-October 8, 1972, and "Adrian: The Couture Years, 1942-1952," August 17, 1995-January 7, 1996, and at The Sharon Landa Gallery in Hollywood, California, 1971.
