A tricolor uniform jacket worn by Charles Boyer in his Academy Award nominated role as Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte upon meeting Countess Marie Walewska, played by Greta Garbo, in Conquest (MGM, 1937). The cutaway jacket of forest green, crimson, and ivory wool has piping details, decorative gold tone buttons, and gold bullion embroidery work to the tails. Inscribed "Napoleon" to interior lining. Accompanied by a pair of MGM vintage epaulettes and an MGM studio medal, not original to the costume, and a copy of the film.
