A 1968 pastel drawing of Elgin Baylor by artist Nicholas Volpe (American, 1911-1992). The pastel drawing features a close-up of Baylor shooting a basketball wearing a non-descript jersey. Next to the close-up is Baylor dribbling the ball wearing an “NBA 22” jersey. The drawing is signed by Baylor in a white pastel crayon. The drawing is also signed by the artist and dated 1968. A yellow gold plaque that reads “Elgin Baylor” is mounted on the bottom.
