A Rawlings Official Major League Baseball (Selig) signed and inscribed by Baseball Hall of Fame Inductee Jim Palmer. The ball has been signed by Palmer on the sweet spot along with the inscription "HOF 90." Palmer has then added another 14 inscriptions to the baseball in his own handwriting, listing many statistics and accomplishments from his career. Inscriptions inlude "1973 AL Cy Young/ 1975 AL Cy Young/ 1976 AL Cy Young/ "Diamond Jim"/ 2,212 K's/ 2.86 ERA/ 3,948 Innings/ 8 - 20 Win Seasons/ 268 Wins/ 6 All Star Games/ 4 Gold Gloves/ 558 Games/ 211 Complete Games/ 52 Shutouts." Signature and inscriptions all in blue ink. Affixed to the baseball is a sticker from ReggieJackson.com numbering the ball "211/1000." While there are 1,000 balls listed in the edition number, it has been speculated that far less than 1,000 baseballs were ever signed and inscribed.
