A burgundy and pale pink houndstooth skirt suit worn by Madonna in her Golden Globe-winning role as Eva Peron in Evita (Cinergi Pictures, 1996). The suit comprises a swing coat with deep burgundy satin lining and a slender-fitting skirt with a decorative buckle. Both pieces have Palace Costumes labels. Costume design by Penny Rose. The film was nominated for five Academy Awards and won one. Accompanied by a copy of the film and a certificate of authenticity signed by Melody Barnett of Palace Costume Company. Categories: Madonna
