An acrylic on paper portrait mounted to cardboard. Signed and dated to upper left "De Niro '61." Signed to the edge tape on verso by the artist's son, actor Robert De Niro Jr. Includes a signed affidavit by the consignor verifying a letter of authenticity from Reese Palley stating that the painting was originally purchased in 1962 from the Gallery Reese Palley in Atlantic City. Also includes a signed affidavit from the daughter of the original owner confirming the above information.
