A large collection of documents from the personal files of John Calley relating to the production of the Stanley Kubrick film Barry Lyndon (Peregrine, 1975), including numerous telex correspondence and inter-office memos (originals and vintage xerographs), approximately five of which are hand signed by Kubrick. The collection also contains financial arrangements between Ryan O'Neal and the studio; shooting schedules; cost estimates for filming; invoices for fencing instructions for O'Neal; daily progress reports; press releases; and xerographed correspondence documenting tensions between Kubrick and Warner Brothers concerning the financial success of the film.
