A pair of ivory wool pants worn by Warren Beatty as Bud Stamper in Splendor in the Grass (Warner Bros. , 1961). The ivory wool dress pants have two slit pockets, belt loops, and zip front closure with a Western Costume Co. label typed “2190-1 WARREN BEATTY 32 1/2 34 1/2.” Together with a cream wool long-sleeve button-front dress shirt from a subsequent production with rounded collar and two-button cuff that has a Western Costume Co. label that reads “2406-1, Warren Beatty, 40 ½, sleeve 35, neck 15 ½." Beatty wears the ensemble at the dance and when co-star Natalie Wood is taken to the hospital. Costume design by Anna Hill Johnstone.
