A pair of brown homespun trousers worn by Marlon Brando as Lee Clayton in The Missouri Breaks (United Artists, 1976). The pants have a flat front, two slant pockets, belt loops, and button fly. An internal Western Costume Co. label typed “2135-3 Marlon Brando 44 ½ 30” and a bias label inscribed “TRIPLE #61” are present. The trousers were worn when Brando leaves the ranch and is killed at his campsite. Remnants of the dirt and stains from production are evident on the pants. Costume design by Patricia Norris. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a copy of the film. Categories: Marlon Brando
