A grey pinstriped suit worn by James Coburn as Speed in Hard Times (Columbia, 1975). The grey wool pinstripe suit consists of a double-breasted jacket with peak lapel, two slit pockets and slit breast pocket and grey lining with an internal Western Costume Co. label typed “2570-1 James Coburn 41 ½ 19 ½” and a pair of pleated cuffed trousers with two front slant pockets, two rear slit pockets, zip front closure and an internal Western Costume Co. label typed “2570-1 James Coburn 33 34 ½” and stamped “W.C.CO. SUIT 2 PCE DOUBLE H #35.” The suit was worn in several scenes throughout the film, including the final fight when Charles Bronson as Chaney wins. Costume design by Jack Bear.
