A dark grey vest, a salmon pink long-sleeve shirt, a pair of shoes, a belt and socks worn by Bill Murray as Jeff Slater in the motion picture Tootsie (Columbia, 1982) starring Dustin Hoffman, Jessica Lange, and Geena Davis. The garments were worn by Jeff (Murray) while warning Michael (Hoffman) not to leave with Julie (Lange) for the weekend. Costume design by Ruth Morley. Tootsie was nominated for numerous Academy Awards in 1983, and Lange won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her work on the film. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the costume house and a copy of the film. Categories: Bill Murray
