A live firing Sig 229 pistol (serial number AL43863) used by Angelina Jolie as Evelyn Salt in the motion picture Salt (Columbia, 2010) also starring Liev Schreiber. This gun was also the primary weapon used by the character Peabody (played by Chiwetel Ejiofor) throughout the film. Jolie used this weapon in several scenes set in the President’s Emergency Operations Center (PEOC) and most notably in the film’s final climactic battle sequence between Evelyn and Ted Winter (Schreiber). Jolie utilized the gun in several scenes while running through the hallways of the PEOC. After Winter kills the other agents and kidnaps the president inside of the sealed PEOC chamber, Evelyn unsuccessfully uses her Sig and a machine gun to try to shoot her way through the room’s bulletproof glass. She then notices an electronic door lock mechanism on the far wall behind Winter and uses a machine gun to shoot through the wall behind it to open the door. Evelyn leaps into the room and ducks for cover after firing three rounds from the Sig pistol while in midair, then empties the rest of her clip before engaging in hand to hand combat with Winter. For safety purposes, this gun was set up to fire “quarter loads” to reduce the risk of injury to Jolie and Schreiber during the action sequences. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, production rental paperwork, and a copy of the film. This firearm must be registered in accordance with state and federal laws through Little John’s Auction Service,
