Acrylic paint on fiberglass. Dan Meneely descends from a family of creative individuals: artists, craftsmen and inventors, dating back into the early 19th century. Growing up next to the beaches of Cape Canaveral, Florida, his early ambitions were more for painting and drawing rather than rockets and astronautics. He eventually set forth on an education in graphic design, earning his BFA at the University of Georgia. During this time he experimented with combinations of traditional fine art and digital media.
