Four vintage, original black and white photographs relating to war bonds drives. Earliest photograph, signed by Mary Pickford, shows Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Marie Dresser, Douglas Fairbanks, Charlie Chaplin and Pickford's mother Charlotte together for the WWI bonds drive. Next two photographs date from the 1953 Bond & Security Drive. First an image with Mary Pickford and President Eisenhower, the second a image of Pickford with Speaker of the House, Joseph William Martin, Jr. Final image is of Mamie and President Eisenhower on a bench outside of the White House. Accompanied by a California bonds poster. The sale of the 1953 United States bonds and securities took several weeks and Pickford travelled to 25 cities.
