An ivory early Victorian style gown worn by Gene Tierney in Dragonwyck (20th Century, 1946). The fitted boned bodice has a shoulder bearing neckline and flounced sleeves. The full bell skirt is embellished with ruching, ruffles, and periwinkle ribbon. A bias label on the skirt reads "1 27 7 4758 46024 JEAN TIERNEY." Costume design by René Hubert. Accompanied by one tinted and one black and white publicity photograph of Tierney wearing the gown and a copy of the film. Categories:
