A Charlie Chaplin owned stainless steel Oyster manual wristwatch, by Rolex circa 1950. Retailed by Asprey and signed on the round white dial, with black Arabic chapters and hands, with left side windstem. The watch was gifted by Chaplin to his personal secretary, Miss Ford's assistant circa 1960. Both Chaplin and the assistant were left handed and the watch was commissioned for a left-handed wearer. Accompanied by two letters regarding the watch. The first from the family member who inherited it. The second addressed to Miss Ford regarding the repair of Mr. Chaplin's watch from C.R.
