A Lester High Quality accordion belonging to Charlie Chaplin. This instrument is made of black lacquered wood, bronze, and steel. The keys are capped in mother of pearl, and the bellows are covered with a paisley fabric. The German-made accordion also has detailed filigree adornments and is still functional. Chaplin wrote most of the music for his films and likely used this instrument while composing. PROVENANCE The Collection of Mirella and Giuliano Canese Categories: Charlie Chaplin
