A group of five vintage black and white photographs of Sophia Loren. Four were taken by Pierluigi Praturlon and one by Elio Sorci, circa 1960. Some images show Loren on the set of La Ciociara ("Two Women") (Compagnia Cinematografica Champion, 1960). For her role as Cesira in this film, Loren won the 1962 Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role, the first Oscar ever given for a performance in a foreign language film. One images shows Loren with her husband, Italian producer Carlo Ponti. Vintage gelatin silver prints. Photographers' copyright stamps on versos. Largest, 9 1/2 by 12 inches Categories:
