A pair of printed cotton campaign handkerchiefs in support of presidential candidate Benjamin Harrison from 1888. The first handkerchief reads "Protection to Home Industries" and "Gen. Ben Harrison" with a portrait of Harrison at the center. Additional illustrations of flags and an eagle at the top of the image. At the bottom of the kerchief is an image of a log cabin, alluding to Harrison's grandfather, William Henry Harrison, the "log cabin president," and an image of Benjamin Harrison in military garb on horseback highlighting his career as a Union general during the Civil War. The second handkerchief has a portrait of both Benjamin Harrison and his running mate, Levi Morton. The kerchief reads "1888/ Protect Home Industry."
