A Regency period costume worn by Inger Stevens in The Buccaneer (Paramount, 1958). The costume comprises a long silk gown, a jacket, a bonnet, and extra pieces of pleated organdy. The gown has a layer of ivory chiffon over periwinkle charmeuse. The periwinkle short fitted jacket has long sleeves that are puffed at the shoulder and fitted to the wrist. The neckline and cuffs are trimmed with pleated cream organdy. The periwinkle bonnet is embellished with silk chiffon. No labels. Costume design by Edith Head, Ralph Jester, and John Jensen.
