An original mixed media costume sketch created for “Star Trek: The Motion Picture” (Paramount, 1979) directed by Robert Wise. Colored pencil notation reading: “Heavy Space Suit 6/24/78/1” and signed in ink by artist: “Andrew Probert.” Probert was the consulting senior editor whose work can also be seen in “Star Trek; The Next Generation,” “Battlestar Galactica,” and “Back to the Future.” The film was nominated for three Academy Awards and one Golden Globe Award.
