1983 Nebraska Cornhuskers Team Signed Football, including Glen Abbott, Charlie McBride and Bill Weber, approximately 75 signatures, including Coach Tom Osborne, Mike Rozier, Irving Fryar, Turner Gill and Dean Steinkuhler, overall very good condition. Coached by Tom Osborne, in 1983 the Cornhuskers fielded one of the most exciting football teams ever. With an offense keyed by Heisman trophy winner Mike Rozier, Turner Gill and Irving Fryar, Nebraska scored at will, including a gaudy 84 points against Minnesota, 63 vs. Syracuse, 69 vs. Colorado,72 vs. Iowa St.,67 vs. Kansas. However, the Huskers lost the National Championship 21-20 against Miami in the Orange Bowl when the coach chose to go for a 2-point conversion and a win instead of kicking the extra point for a tie.
