A third-class White Star Line ticket from the motion picture Titanic (20th Century Fox, 1997), framed and under glass, together with a certificate of authenticity from 20th Century Fox indicating that this item was won by Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) in an on-shore gambling scene. This ticket is printed in reverse intentionally. In order for director James Cameron to be historically accurate in his depiction of the Titanic¹s voyage, the departure scene was filmed in reverse so passengers appeared to be boarding on the starboard side of the ship as they originally did in 1912. Costumes, signs, and even tickets were all created in reverse to appear normal when the footage was flipped in post-production. 6 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches Categories:
