Three-page Johnny Cash handwritten working lyrics to an alternative version of the Cash classic "Don't Take Your Guns To Town," written on white lined paper in blue ink. This apparently unrecorded and unpublished song seems to be a continuation of "Don't Take Your Guns To Town." It tells the story of an educated young man named Joe who, like his predecessor Billy Joe in the aforementioned song, grows restless in his life and ventures to town with a gun. However, in this narrative, the main character has definite plans for the gun. Also unlike Billy Joe, Joe has a "lady love" at home who, apparently with God's help, dissuades him from slaying an unnamed "famous man."
