An emotional two-page letter written by Dietrich to her husband, Rudolf Sieber, in original transmittal envelope dated April 26, 1945. Envelope is also dated "5/8 45" in Sieber's hand. Letter pertains to his lack of contact with her as well as her perception that he is more concerned with money than her well being. Reads in part, "...I don't understand anything anymore. Not even a cable!!...I just came from a field hospital where the tortured and sick lie from concentration camps...I am dirty and tired and when i saw the letter-package, I hoped for something from home..."
