The memo instructs Feldman to accept the contract offer made for Dietrich to star in the 1939 Western film Destry Rides Again (Universal Pictures, 1939). The contract mentions a salary of $75,000 for 10 weeks of work and Dietrich's plan to leave on the Queen Mary for Hollywood.
