A costume worn by Palm City Police Officer Vince Faraday, played by David Lyons. Framed as the murderous crime boss, Chess, he’s hunted by the private ARK police and is believed to have been killed. To protect his family and try to clear his name, Faraday assumes the identity of The Cape. The foundation of the costume consists of a custom grey knit turtleneck top with hidden zipper in the back and custom dark green leather pants with fleur-de-lis style detailing on the legs. Worn over the top is a protective two-piece vest made of skinned foam with decorative leather and plastic detailing and an attached wide leather belt. The costume also comes with a pair of calf-high brown leather Frye boots and a black leather utility belt with five small and one large pouch. Also included is a pair of custom made brown leather gloves with leather and rubber detailing to match the vest. The mask is constructed of formed brown leather with leather piping, buckle and strap details and a Velcro closure at the back. The five-foot-long two-layer cape and accompanying hood are made of microfiber materials with a blue interior and black and silver exterior. The hood has an internal drawstring to tighten around the neck, and the cape has wide elastic straps with Velcro attachments to loop under the arms and connect behind the back. The large pouch contains a production call sheet and other personal effects, presumably belonging to Lyons. Categories: The Cape
