A plastic resin weapon made by Mitch Leary, played by John Malkovich in In the Line of Fire (Columbia. , 1993). Malkovich creates this plastic gun to slip past security into a re-election campaign dinner for the U.S. president, played by Jim Curley. Malkovich faces off against the Secret Service agent assigned to protect the president, Frank Horrigan, played by Clint Eastwood. The gun is disassembled as seen in the film and is inscribed “In The Line of Fire pistol by Frank Rousseau.” Rousseau is a weapons expert who created this prop for the film. The lot also includes an inscribed photograph of Malkovich that reads "Jerry.../ enjoy the gun/ very best John Malkovich." Malkovich personally gave this prop gun to the consignor. Categories:
