A set of three typed, signed letters, two from Richard Nixon and one from Spiro Agnew, all addressed to campaigner Evelyn Crane. The first is an extensive single page letter from Nixon, dated February 23, 1967, on his personal stationery, reading in part, “the most heartwarming reward we have received has been the loyal and continued support of friends like you”; the second, also on Nixon’s letterhead, is a shorter note dated June 10, 1963, regarding Supervisor Kenneth Hahn; also a letter from Governor Spiro T. Agnew on official Maryland Executive Department letterhead, dated January 12, 1968, stating “the Republican nominee in 1968 will receive [his] unqualified support whover he may be.” Agnew would later be vice president, serving under President Richard Nixon. Some accompanied by original transmittal envelopes. Each sheet, 7 1/2 by 10 1/2 inches Categories:
