An Air Force suit worn Johnny Cash worn during his years in the service, no labels or size present. Johnny Cash served four years in the Air Force and attained the rank of sergeant while stationed in Germany. Serving as a radio intercept operator, Cash learned to type 150 words per minute. It was in Germany that Cash formed his first band and music became a driving force in his life. He once joked, "I spent 20 years in the Air Force from 1950 to 1954." This uniform is prominently displayed across pages 16 and 17 in the book Cash: An American Man, published by Pocket Books/Simon & Schuster, 2004. Categories: Johnny Cash
