A china silk dressing robe features a metallic gold paisley and floral pattern throughout. Originally donated to Lucille Ball’s hometown by Lucy’s daughter, Lucie Arnaz, the robe was a part of the 1996 Lucille Ball Estate Auction to raise funds for a museum in Lucille Ball’s honor. A photograph of Lucy wearing the robe is included with this lot. In the photo. Lucy is seen seated at her dressing table in her New York apartment circa 1961, with her hair stylist, Irma Kusely, at her side. The photograph is believed to have been taken during Lucy’s Broadway run in Wildcat . Also included with this lot is the original 1996 auction catalog and a certificate of authenticity from the auction.
