A letter typed on Joan Crawford blue stationery and signed by Crawford with a personal check from Crawford's bank account, check number 15205 and dated, "October 15, 1976," written to the Motion Picture Hall of Fame in the amount of $15. 00. The blue paper used to write this note is the same type Crawford used to answer all of her fan mail, which she did religiously and personally. 1976 was the year of Crawford's last public appearance.
