A light blue satin and plaid dress with detachable cape worn by Margaret O’Brien in Jane Eyre (20th Century Fox, 1943). The dress is trimmed in red velvet piping. Handwritten in the seam of the dress “39434 M. O’Brien.” Label in cape reads “2 27 7 3744.” O’Brien played the young ward Adele Varens in this film adaptation of Charlotte Bronte’s novel.
