A framed contract between Jefferson Airplane and Dick Clark Television Prod. , Inc., dated May 21, 1967, and signed by Grace Slick, Jorma Kaukonen, Paul Kantner, and Marty Balin, who has signed “Martyn Buchwald.” The contract is countersigned by “Dick Clark, pres,” and concerns Jefferson Airplane’s compensation for their American Bandstand performance at the ABC TV-Center on May 21, 1967. Housed within the frame is also a black and white image of the band in its incarnation as Jefferson Starship and a plaque with the band’s name.
