The figure has a custom fiberglass head with hand laid hair, glass eyes, and plastic teeth on a fiberglass body. The costume is a gold silk and satin faille dress with a fitted bodice and full skirt with quilted satin underskirt, worn by Leslie Caron in An American in Paris (MGM, 1951). The dress has a label marked "1507 7845/ L. Caron." The ballet slippers that accompany this figure were worn by Caron in the film Gaby (MGM, 1956). A black and white photograph of Caron accompanies this lot.
