A group of three items signed by former Middleweight Champion Jake LaMotta. The film Raging Bull (United Artists, 1980) was based on LaMotta's life. In the film, LaMotta is portrayed by Robert DeNiro, who would go on to win an Academy Award for his performance. Included in this lot are a red left-handed Everlast boxing glove signed "Jake LaMotta/ Raging Bull" in black marker, size 10; a polyester leopard print boxing robe with the name "JAKE LAMOTTA" on the back in embroidered lettering and signed "Jake LaMotta/ Raging Bull" in silver marker, size medium; and a pair of black polyester Everlast boxing shorts signed "Jake LaMotta/ Raging Bull" in silver marker, size medium.
