A grey suit with black velour trim made for John Lennon for the film A Hard Day's Night (UA, 1964). The suit was made by D.A. Millings & Son as a spare for Lennon. The suit bears the D.A. Millings & Son label as well as a handwritten label that reads "Name 'Beatle' Film/ (Spare) 5-11-63 (JL)." This spare suit was gifted by Dougie Millings to a friend. The single-breasted jacket has four mother-of-pearl button closure and blue satin lining. The flat front trousers have a zipper and hook and eye closure. No sizes present. Categories: John Lennon
